Ever been in a gym? Some people probably relate it to a visit to a dentist or worst yet if you are a woman, a gynecologist!!!  Guess what, it is not at all what it seems. Yea, there might be a few of the pretty people (as we chubby's call them) around, but what the heck, they are everywhere...grocery stores, shopping, doctors office, etc. Even as much as we think we will feel uncomfortable in a gym, I have come to realize it is propably exactly the opposite to be true. I walk through the clubs and I see more people that look like me than the 100's of pretty people that I see on the street everyday. So ok, what have I learned, first don't judge a book by it's cover, walk in, try it out, just like a new pair of shoes you may need to break them in, but soon enough they will feel awesome! Second, get healthy, that is and continues to be my one true goal as I turn 45 this year, and last but not least, if you happen to become the pretty person that you wanted to be along the way......BONUS!!!
